Ever started a torrent download and only to see it get stuck halfway , or get a torrent tracker offline message ? The trick to get more trackers for the file you are downloading , as trackers contain seeds or souces for the file who help complete the download .
Here's How to do it :-
1 . Go to btreannouncer website (
http://btreannouncer.kritical-it.com/main.php )
2. Upload a .torrent File
3. Wait a moment while the system attempts to find alternate trackers for your torrent.
4. Select (or not) a new primary announce url (tracker) for your your torrent.
5. Click "ReAnnounce" if you made any changes
6. Select and/or De-select any or all of the remaining announce urls as alternates for your bittorrent client.
7. Click "ReAnnounce"
8. Download your ReAnnounced torrent when you're done
My Experience :-
First of all I downloaded the "iron man" .torrent file from The Pirate Bay onto my PC and uploaded it to btReAnnouncer. Within a few seconds the site displayed the current primary tracker - http://tracker.thepiratebay.org/announce. However, it also displayed a list of 17 other tracker URLs identified as tracking the same torrent - any one or combination of which could help you to complete a stubborn download.
Note:- It doesn’t make sense to add more than one tracker from the same url (e.g. thepiratebay.org) because they often track the same peers.
Note 2 :- btReAnnouncer can also be used to find public sources for otherwise private torrents, just don’t forget to remove any passkeys etc from the announce URL in the torrent.
Enjoy
