Guys Reliance has just launched WiMax Fixed Wireless broadband in Bangalore(i don't know about other cities)
WiMax is the Latest Technology pioneered by Intel it is cheap and best

For 999 Rupees Unlimited download with speed 400Kbps
and for 1200 Rupees 600Kbps
These are for Single user
for multiuser there are diffrent plans

For 1200 Rupees 2mbps 8GB download limit

Cool prices, but i don't think so reliance has full fledged network all over mumbai n other suburbs.

got this info from their salesman who came @home today lol

abe... transfer speed, when u download some files it shows kb/ps,,,, 25kb/ps... 30 min left to download file like this it will show 150 as by them got it.....
